A Virginia man was arrested Wednesday after police say he brought a 2-by-4-foot board with the words 'High Powered Rifle' written on its side into Sandy Hook Elementary School in the town of Strasburg, MyFoxDC.com reported.

Christopher Johnson, 33, was apparently trying to bring attention to how easy it is to bring a weapon into a school, Scott Proctor, a major at the Shenandoah County Sheriff’s office, said. Johnson was reportedly detained by a school resource officer before he was taken into police custody.

I should get all of the Articles and "friend" interviews. I said it in the other thread, I was waiting for the spin to occur. There it is in bold letters. So, he has gone from a shy kid who was a little awkward with a girlfriend to an anti-social, autistic, loner, goth, violent video game junkie who was under the care of a psychologist and was depressed because he couldn't join the military.

Weird, how many underage teen house parties did you attend when you were between the ages of 14-20? I went to a few and most started out in High school with the words "MY PARENTS WILL BE GONE FOR THE WEEKEND!!!"

I just did a quick survey of a few of my favorite online etailers and found ZERO AR magazines were in stock. Brownells, Midway, Cabelas, Rainier Arms… All are out of 30 round AR magazines. In fact, it looks like they have run dry on nearly every variant of AR magazine.

I’m not shocked. It’s a small sample set to draw a conclusion from, but it seems that the Panic has really taken hold.

Here’s an update after talking a bit with local shops here in northern Virginia today:

Jimmy from F3 Tactical reports: “Rob it’s been absolutely crazy! We went black on PMAGS around noon on Tuesday, and as of last night sold all of the other mags we have in stock. I still have a stash we are saving for the guy’s who are deploying, cops, contractors etc. but we’re not even selling those, just giving them away as needed.”

“The problems are reaching beyond the shops, our biggest distributor is going off line during the day because of the high volume of ordering. I sneak in around 2am to see if anything is available…..and of course nothing is.”

“This is the worse panic buying I’ve ever seen.”
