You asked what we want to do about it, i said let's tackle obesity.
You have the anti gun agenda, i merely pointed out how it should be a low priority.

Is there a trend in school massacres? Show the data so we can see if they are rising, descending or remaining stable.

School massacres fall under violent crime, which is on a downward trend.
If you want to split those kind of hairs that's on you.
I've already demonstrated that guns !=school massacres.

So as i see it, we are back to looking at real risks, and again, obesity is a much, much greater threat to our population (by an order of magnitude) than shootings, much less school massacres.

It's also a much more attainable goal, having fit, healthy children (or population as it may be); rather than trying to contain every contingency a madman could come up with.

So yeah, you're the drunk stumbling in the dark, methinks, asking for such numbers in light of the big picture.

A question to all the multiple gun holders here, Do you guys have bars on all the windows in your houses?
Are the doors gun/fire proof?
You hardly see a house here without bars on all the windows and strong doors. I think that this is more effective than a gun as a protective means. And if you claim that you need a gun in every room plus inside the safe over the fridge etc. but fail to bar the windows and having an armored door...well.

Being a fatass kills over ten times as many Americans as do firearm murders and accidents combined.
So a reasonable and effective measure to, ostensibly save lives, would be to tackle obesity.
If i were to address the mass killings themselves, i'd say pass concealed carry laws as those are the only forms of intervention shown to have an effect on mass killings.

Ya see, that would make us look crazy. In other neighbourhoods, you see the barred windows and armoured doors. These happen to be areas where gun control is the strictest, yet you still see the highest instances of gun violence (NYC and the 5 boros)
