    Guy Windsor's Rapier Manual

Guy Windsor posted on his blog yesterday that he's regained the rights to his first two books, the Duellist's Companion (rapier) being one, and I believe the Swordsman's Companion (longsword) being the other.

Copies have been going for hundreds of dollars (when I just looked, the Swordsman's Companion was on Amazon for $100-$400). The Duellist's Companion is now available as a PDF on scribd.com for $10, DRM free. Swordsman's Companion isn't available yet, but Windsor's blog post suggests it will be.

I'm glad that he finally got that worked out. Good for him.

    Peace favor your sword,

Most of the authors (not all, sadly, but most) who published through Chivalry Bookshelf and got screwed by the owner have reached a settlement where they have the copyright and physical copies of their books returned to them. I believe many of the titles are being offered again through Freelance Academy Press: http://www.freelanceacademypress.com/

There's a thread started by Chris Tobler of Freelance that tells the whole story here: http://forums.armourarchive.org/phpB...p?f=3&t=157458
