Okay, had a chat over youtube PMs and it basically played out like this.
He was not rude so I don't want to be rude by posting our Messages, so here is the gist.
I contacted and requested a sparring match with videoing.
He replied saying he was a ancient martial arts researcher and does not believe in sparring to learn stuff.
He said no videoing due to some wingchun circle thing and no does not want to spar but invited me down to research together to find "the truth", I declined.
I don't think he claims anything other than being a "ancient martial arts" researcher. Not from his website or youtube videos anyway.Where there is only a choice between cowardice and violence, I would advise violence.
