Better than nothing, but that clinch work would get you tossed with anyone who actually grapples.

That guy threw a hook kick in the clinch. They are taking themselves down.

I worked clinches last week in MMA class. With his arms chicken winged out like that I feel like he'd be in for a world of hurt with even a lightly experienced grappler who trains with aliveness. It has opportunity all over it (at least to me)... with my baby 1 month experience in grappling.

    Don't be hating...

This is how it begins. The "a-ha...I get it!" moment for all true believers. I was there once.

Black backgrounds and Aikido threads. I don't remember stepping into a time machine, but....

This guy is so good he can fight without getting his glasses messed up. I have never seen that before.

It looks like they're playing with kyokushin-type contact rules. (No face punches). Bad grappling apparently beats bad striking.

Yeah, if that had been a kyokushin dojo with the same basic rules (no punching to the head) it would have been a completly different video.

... seems to me the aiki-guy picked the east format he could for his "test" --

I also seem to remember talking about this guy before here on bullshido...hmmm
