I haven't done any of these fights myself (cause who trains to fight with chains?) but I'd say that the stick is worse. The chain's energy is divided between damage, warping itself to the shape of the target, and the noise it makes when it hits. The stick is mostly damage and doesn't conform to its target. I got the feeling that only a really heavy chain would be a decent weapon (unless used as a garrote).

Also see anyone get choked out with a chain?
No, but I've seen someone wrap their fist really quick and punch the other guy in the mask.

Not only am I morally opposed to Hell, I as an informed citizen know that the Hells angels are in fact involved in organized crime despite what they say.

That would look horrible on a police application. Yeah I train on the weekends with some hells angels. Unless they want some undercover or something. But even ignoring that I am morally opposed to organized crime, murder, drugs and all that stuff.
And personally I think harleys are loud and annoying but thats neither here nor there.

would you join a club that so obviously sponsored a criminal organization?
I definably would not attend a Dojo or club with any gang affiliation. Mostly for the same reasons the majority of people here replied with and yours. I am in college for Criminal Justice with a Concentration in Homeland Security so having any gang affiliation would probably screw me over somewhere down the line. Hell, The CIA just recently started giving Gay men security clearance, now that that's no longer a barrier for me I would be dammed if I let as something as simple as where I trained ruin my goal now.

Wait a second I checked my ultimate source on all things Martial Arts
    GURPS Martial Arts 4th ed.
It makes no mention of Dog Brother's using chains

    under ESCRIMA 4 points
Breakaway schools – famously, Dog Brothers Martial
Arts in the U.S. – add ground techniques from Brazilian Jiujitsu,
as well as additional locks and holds. Such schools
teach attacks off standing grapples. One such tactic is to
parry and Slip to close with the opponent, and then grapple
him and seek a stick-assisted Choke Hold. Schools like this
add Wrestling, Ground Fighting (Wrestling), and Ground
Fighting (Smallsword). Style cost becomes 5 points.
    These skills are added to
    Skills: Karate; Main-Gauche; Smallsword.
Techniques: Aggressive Parry (Karate); Arm Lock
(Smallsword); Armed Grapple (Smallsword); Choke Hold
(Smallsword); Disarming (Smallsword); Elbow Strike; Feint
(Main-Gauche or Smallsword); Knee Strike; Targeted Attack
    (Main-Gauche Swing/Arm); Targeted Attack (Main-Gauche
    Swing/Hand); Targeted Attack (Smallsword Swing/Arm);
    Targeted Attack (Smallsword Swing/Hand).
Don't let the word Karate throw you
    Karate
    DX/Hard
    Defaults: None.
    This skill represents any advanced
training at unarmed striking, not just
the Okinawan martial art of karate.
Roll against Karate to hit with a
punch (at no -4 for the “off” hand), or
Karate-2 to hit with a kick. You cannot
use Karate to attack with claws, teeth,
etc., or with a blackjack – use
Brawling (p. 182) for that. Karate skill
does let you make several special
    attacks, however; see Special Unarmed
    Combat Techniques (p. 403).
    Karate improves damage: if you
know Karate at DX level, add +1 per
die to basic thrust damage when you
    calculate damage with Karate attacks:
punches, kicks, elbow strikes, etc. Add
+2 per die if you know Karate at DX+1
or better! Work out damage ahead of
time and record it on your character
    sheet.
Karate allows you to parry two different
attacks per turn, one with each
hand. Your Parry score is (skill/2) + 3,
rounded down. This parry is not at the
usual -3 for parrying a weapon barehanded,
    greatly reducing the likelihood
    of injury when you defend
against an armed foe. In addition,
    Karate gives an improved retreating
bonus when you parry; see Retreat
    (p. 377). For more on parrying barehanded,
    see Parrying Unarmed (p. 376).
To use Karate, any hand with
which you wish to strike or parry must
be empty (but you are free to wear
heavy gauntlets, brass knuckles, etc. to
    increase damage). Because Karate
relies heavily on footwork, all Karate
attacks and parries take a penalty
equal to your encumbrance level. For
    instance, Heavy encumbrance would
give you -3 to hit or to parry an enemy
    attack.
    Small Sword
    [Smallsword (DX/Average): Any
short (up to 1 yard), light thrusting
sword or one-handed short staff (such
as the sticks used in the martial arts
    arnis, escrima, and kali). Default:
    Shortsword-4.

Yeah, I'll train with Dillman. Unlike that total reprobate Mas Oyama, Dillman's never been a Yakuza enforcer...
Vold nimrod: why secretly? oh and we had some famous Jewish thugs, don't you watch boardwalk empire at work?
