So I was just looking at MMA gyms around and came across this one, one of the only ones around, and was interested till I saw "Proud Sponsor of the hell's Angels biker club"
does this actually attract people to their club?
Not only am I morally opposed to Hell, I as an informed citizen know that the Hells angels are in fact involved in organized crime despite what they say.

That would look horrible on a police application. Yeah I train on the weekends with some hells angels. Unless they want some undercover or something. But even ignoring that I am morally opposed to organized crime, murder, drugs and all that stuff.
And personally I think harleys are loud and annoying but thats neither here nor there.

Hells Angels is not a criminal organization it is a biker club and within that some of their members are criminals.

Not according to the US Department of Justice (and several other US LEF/immigration agencies or INTERPOL for that matter). The line that they only have "some bad apples" is HMAC propaganda, and does not fit the fact that the entire organization is considered a criminal syndicate.

Oh no, now somebody's gonna bring up the U.S.'s RICO laws (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations). These are federal statutes we have in the States under which members of organizations within which criminal activity is countenanced (in the judgment of whichever politically-appointed federal prosecutor is pursuing the case) can be prosecuted as participants in a criminal conspiracy, even if the individuals in question have not otherwise broken the law. Drug-trafficking is one of the offenses under which racketeering charges can be brought under RICO laws. There are dozens of RICO-chargeable offenses ranging from terrorism, murder, and slavery to gambling, pornography, and video piracy.

The merely racketeering member (so to speak) has to be involved in "a pattern" of activity supporting the criminals, namely 2 or more actions, one of which must be within the past 10 years. These actions must have something or other (virtually anything) in common with each other.

One Hells Angels chapter was charged under RICO laws when they were first passed, for drug- and gun-dealing, and famously were acquitted, but since then RICO prosecutions have become much more polished, MC members have been convicted under RICO laws, and 19 Hells Angels members and associates are currently awaiting trial under a 91 count RICO indictment.

I think there are good reasons to have strong reservations about RICO laws, given the enormous latitude they give federal prosecutors to charge those who cannot be tied to specific crimes and for several other reasons, but in short any organization with criminal members whose criminal activities are encouraged by, discussed with, used as revenue sources for, etc., other members, may be in serious jeopardy of being legally judged a "racket" or "corrupt organization" by the U.S. legal system.

(I have no first-hand knowledge of HAMC and offer no opinion of their RICO status. Oh, also, I am not a lawyer.)
