pretty classy how as soon as pacman hit the canvas they cut to a shot of his distraught wife. nice work guys, real nice.

also, i say this every time, can someone please. please. kill larry merchant. i swear to god, he may be one of the worst things about boxing. although roy jones was def giving him a run for his money by seeing how many times in a row he could say the same fucking thing, with the exact same tone. i think someone had to smack him in the back of the head to restart him.

sweet revenge for marquez though, i feel like hes always been under rated, and he shoulda got the W on their last fight

Yep. By my count, JMM should have a 3-1 edge in this series. At least he knows what he needs to do to be credited as winning a fifth fight. Not to badmouth Manny, who is of course a fantastic fighter, too. Marquez fights everybody and has done well against just about everyone except Mayweather.

If Marquez knocks Pacquiao out again in a fifth fight, though, that'll make them 2-2 with a draw, officially. So, then won't we need the rubber match to break the tie? Marquez-Pacquiao 6 anyone?

Yes, you did. But I didn't see him afterwards. Funny that.

    Yeah I think so too.

This is one of those KO's (much like the Hatton KO vs Pacman) where you have to wonder how much damage was actually done.

Also Roach is a great trainer but all of his fighters are soo offensive that you have to wonder wether it's sensible to box like that over a long period of time. (the exact reason Amir Kahn left his camp I believe)

Aggression can get you out of trouble. It can also get you INTO trouble.

Particularly against a Counter Puncher, 'cos you're playing his game.

Marquez will always be a nightmare for Pacman because of his counter punching abilities and instincts. A 5th fight goes to Marquez unless Pacman employs a conservative hit and run type fightplan. He won't. His instinct is to be aggresive.

I'd still consider Pac as the favorite in their (possible) next bout. That KO came out of nowhere.

It's not like Marquez was dominating the fight or anything.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is the case..maybe one or two more fights at the most.
The political endeavors he has and the time he has to commit to trying to improve things in his homeland is a ft job and it has to be taking away from his focus in training.
I think Manny has already found his next calling and it won't be long before he commits to it fully and says goodbye to boxing.
