*Spoiler*
Don't know how to feel about the Rory vs. Penn fight. Rory dominated clearly. Crisp technique, used his reach to near perfection. It was pretty much 3 rounds of Rory shadow boxing.
That's the thing I feel unsure about. Penn did absolutely nothing for 3 rounds. No real attempt to counter or to guard sufficiently. At times, it looked as though Rory wanted to give Penn a chance. Got in close to hold when there was no need to. Even took down Penn just to lay there when his stand-up was obviously out matching Penn's to astronomical levels.
Could just be Penn being extremely winded from the beat down he was getting, especially his body, however it almost seems like a fixed match. More than likely a VERY silly perception of the match but it just seems a fight couldn't possibly be that ridiculously one sided till it went to the judges. Well, unless you're Anderson Silva. -

I think Penn has looked uninspired for a couple of years now. And taking fights where he has to move up and take on guys who are naturally bigger men hasn't helped his cause any.
He's just floating now, living off his legacy. He has nothing more to contribute to the UFC." If one wants to have a friend one must also want to wage war for him: and to wage war one must be capable of being an enemy." - Fr. Nietzsche 'On The Friend' Thus Spake Zarathustra -

Powerful on the clinch, brutal leg kicks to make Diaz hesitant coming forward and stronger on the ground (although perhaps not technically superior to Nate) = victory.
Diaz is going to be one sore dude tomorrow.
He's one tough cat though.
