Can-ryu is well established. That part isn't a problem, but the "I drew my totally awesome logo during my super boring math class" is.

My thoughts were more along the lines of: dude seems kind of young for a nidan...also to have logged in enough hours in: Karate, TKD, Judo, kickboxing & BJJ to feel confident enough to "combine" them into a single martial art.

However, every martial arts system has different rules in regards to awarding rank and what not.
