Is the rising sun still used by political groups, in Japan?

Part of the reason the swastika retains its' power as a symbol is that it is still used today to represent bigoted ideals

First. South Park is great and funny, i know everything mainstream is tabu for you, being such an interesting deep radical idealist (Fight the power!!!). It's currently used by the JSDF and some extreme rightists. You can see old men carrying the flags at many Shinto shrines where they house war criminals. I really don't understand how Japan got away with this in the first place lol.

I'm offended too. I don't like it when one of the most visible representatives of my favorite sport dresses himself like a pimp from New Orleans.

Other than that, I'm all for stuff that offends people. My son is training BJJ now. I was thinking of getting him a custom gi with a confederate flag on one shoulder and a swastika on the other. I want to ensure he gets the most realistic training possible.
