You do know that, the $20 Video card is going to be a newer generation and technology than an Intel Lynnfield Core I7 right?
You can get a Direct x 11 version 6.00.6002.18107 w/ HDMI and 1GB of DDR 3 Video Card for ~$20 marker if you shop around. If your willing to come up a little you can easily get a 2GB card.
So tell me what components you have in your computer that are better. -

No really its not a gamble on my part at all, because Video Card development out paces chip set development.
You know next to nothing about computers and you don't have the bank roll.
You have your PS1 hooked up through RCA jacks, means your not a gamer. Hell I am a big retro gamer and I don't have a PS1 hooked up. Although I do play PS1 & PS2 games straight off my computer.
The fact that you don't already have an HDMI output also tells me your chipset is old and out of date. The H55 Chipset includes HDMI out. Odds are your probably not even sporting an I Core processor.
So basically any card with HDMI on it is going to be newer than all the **** you have in your box. -

Well as a married man, I need excuses to build new PCs so that when the wife asks I have an excuse that sounds important..."beta testing" for instance.
MWO's system requirements were very high end during the closed beta, something they relaxed for open beta. Originally the programming was very CPU intensive and video cards didn't matter much....anything short of i3 was a joke according to the forums. The IceQ is a Radeon HD6870 that was going to be retired and you know what that means...value for your dollar. That is a fucking ace card for the $120 I spent on it.
Betas typically do suck, but I have been waiting for this game for years and will have enjoyed being a tester, helping them improve the gameplay. -
