Intel Core i7-3610QM overclocked at 3.36GHZ
8GB of Made in Japan Kingston DDR3-SDRAM
Onboard memory consists of Intel HD 4000 graphics
Harddisk is 1TB of made in Japan Hitachi goodness.
15.6" LG 1080P glory with 0 glare and a 180* of viewing angle.
Windows 7 Ultimate Professional SP1
And and NVIDIA Gefore 650M powers all of my glorious needs for questing and ****.

haha I don't even know what I am running anymore thats how old my **** is, and guess what it still works. It still does its job. My media server that is hooked up to my TV still plays movies fine and will for a long long time.
My lenovo think pad that I do most of my browsing on is powerful enough to run CAD/CAM programs, surf the internet, and still play all of the latest games.
That is right people old **** still works fine now. With the trend towards making sure everything works on mobile devices most of my old hardware will be fine for years to come.
This is why a cheap Video card works for this guy, because video card progression is ridiculous. Yet the processing power for even things like games has remains fairly stagnant in large part do to the success of the console market. If your going to dump a bunch of money into making a game it better be able to be played on the 360 and the PS3 as well. -

Yup.
I just got this little behemoth for a ridiculously good price is all. I love it to bits and pieces though. It's amazing. I love that the steelseries keyboard on this notebook actually makes the WASD keys 10% larger and moved the windows key to the right side of the keyboard to keep accidental hits to a 0. CTRL and the Space Bar are also 10% larger than the other keys.
It's pretty snazzy. The keyboard is a delight to type on. -

You just described my average fall morning, drinking triple caffeinated student center coffee and scribbling notes, circa 1996 or so.
Nowadays I am actually permitted to use computers.
Of course now I can even build my own from mail order parts with love and care.
The IceQ with the huge metal sinks is my "cheap" video card.
I built this one specifically to beta test Mechwarrior Online.
