The hood mentality is crippling disease, that attacks your nervous system. It makes you nervous of the system. Gangsters and hood rats are especially susceptible to this growth stunting mentality. The hood is where I'm from, but it's not what I am. The hood is where I'm from, but it's not what I am. --Keith David--Ice Cube

From what I can tell searching around the internet no one else speaks of a Tiger style/form in Yang Taiji. I asked my teacher if he had heard of it referred to in this way on mainland China and he said no..anyone got links or thoughts on that? All references I can find come from the Hong Kong Yang line, just wondering if its an expression formulated there in particular ( possibly Ip Tai Tak only ).
I ask as reading Boyds site he states:
andMaster Ip was an innovator, adding exercises, drills and martial variations to the body of knowledge passed on to him by his Master.
Just wondering if naming it Tiger comes from that..Master Yang also gave Master Ip permission to personalize the Yang Family Long Boxing and weapons forms to suit Master Ip’s martial interests and beliefs.Last edited by Resonance10; 11/27/2012 3:12pm at . Reason: more to add

...but seriously I wonder if Boyd is aware of the implications of his claims, cos that takes some big kahunas and a mighty thick skin if he is, though its prob only going to piss off the Hong Kong crew.
