I see your original point though. The footage with Kintanon totally made the last 5 pages of our GS thread completely UNACCEPTABLE to me. I'm surprised anyone even wants to do a GS when people can be so hurtful in their comments :\

Outside of a TD beating down a 15 year old comes with prison time. But y'all congratulate him here.

There have been times Sirc has said things about people's families that definitely would go down badly in the real world. That's not a random 15 year old, that's a 4 year veteran Bully with amateur fights, numerous TD's and years of kickboxing against adults. People can applaud them beating on each other without applauding Chris' bragging.

Look, I don't want to sound callous, but Ben can be a very, very cocky fighter. He stepped into Omega hard when they sparred, and got thrown hard for his trouble. That's fine. He came at Mike like an adult, and got treated like one. That's a form of respect. As his parent, I didn't like it, but as the parent of a fighter I accept it. KK and Sirc are both cocky, confident fighters with aspirations in the sport. And they don't care for each other. Ben wanted that spar as much as Chris did.

He did this sort of thing all the time. He got blasted sparing a pro MMA fighter a few months back... out on his feet.

He does this sort of thing all the time. This is him trying it on an a Golden Gloves boxer, about a year before the round with Sirc. Stepped in hard on a competent adult and got shut down hard.

He does this less and less now, but it's part of who he is.

I don't doubt it and I'm not questioning your role as a parent.

The difference is Ben isn't even legaly responsible fo his actions yet. Sirc should know better.

Even among the grown men Ben sparred with there is a big difference.

Omega is a teacher and competent enought to give a cocky up and comer a good demo. I don't see him here BOASTING that he beat Ben. Omega displays strong character even when he's being a jerk online.

Sirc is an ego maniac who not only braggs about beefing with a teenager, but is even proud of himself for breaking the boys foot.

That is fucked up. The more I learn about Chris the less respect I have for the guy. Ammy fights or training be damned. None of that makes up for a total lack of Honor.

That day was a bit surreal for me Matt. I have to be honest as I looked over at you and Marvin; I had no idea where Ben's head was that day. In my gym there's a mutual combat rule dictated by the lowest belt. I don't think we'll ever find out the honest truth until his testosterone level evens out.

Not sure what you mean about it being surreal for you; it was good to see you again, and great to roll with you again.

Mutual combat; you're both agreeing to fight but the level is always set by the least experienced person. I was extremely like that when I was his age. I have one protege that was like that too. I've seen this one too many times. It's why I have no ill will toward Ben and wish him good luck on his journey. I'm sincerely hoping for great things for him.
