For me a Gong Sau is a grudge match and I don't want one at events that I organise. The last years the focus has turned here on Bullshido from Throwdowns to Gong Sau and I don't feel that this is an improvement and for some wierd reason most of the EuroBullies (that I have met) are feeling the same way.

i feel like i should say this: before i stopped organizing throwdowns, it got *very* difficult to find a location willing to let us hold one. sambo steve was very nice to let us use his gym a couple of times, but without fighthouse (who eventually got *shut down* due to issues with listening to authority figures) we were out of luck, here in NYC at least.

most places were not willing to rent us space so a bunch of strangers could spar at potentially full contact levels, so we shouldn't act like it's that odd that zendo encounters some resistance.

also, we never banned anyone, but that "revolution fist" dude made us want to, no one wanted anything to do with the guy eventually.

The clubs that train in leased facilities can offer a year membership for max €300, that's a price you can't compete against if you have build your own club that equals the facilities offered by the city.

How much is that in real money?
How is it that the places you guys train at aren't willing to get involved and sponsor a get together?
