On the other hand, I don't give a **** how much money you or anyone else makes. I could actually make way more money then I'm currently making, but I chose not to. I love my job, the projects are awesome and so are the people I work with.

I'm getting my degree at one of the most expensive universities in this part of the world, and I'm paying nothing. I got constant job offers both from the uni and other people.

Your clear ignorance of what being a consultant in the IT field with multiple clients in multiple industries means is starting to annoy me.

The group I'm part of supports close to 1000 servers across the southeast. We restart one pretty much every day. When you have a large enough system base there is ALWAYS some random **** going on that requires something stupid that could TOTALLY have been prevented if your clients were willing/able to spend an extra million on redundancy.
I also end up sometimes having to do stupid frontline IT desktop support **** because when the president of a company that does a hundred million dollars worth of real estate business every year asks me to move his fucking printer, I move his fucking printer.

Sirc is in the same general business. He doesn't have full control over every network he touches, some accountant somewhere has veto power. That means sometimes your solution is to reboot a system every few days instead of to spend the money it would take to actually fix the problem.

So, STFU about the IT stuff. None of you know what you're talking about.
