From what I gather the issue here is that Matt is nitpicking over the tense in the sentence of Phrost's sticky. By his logic I should put "nothing" there since I haven't been actively training any martial arts in the past six months regardless of what experience I have in BJJ or Judo, but as soon as I get back onto the mats I can change it back.

If that's what he is indeed suggesting it's pretty stupid and incredibly pedantic, since I always took it in "what you have most experience in" kinda field.

I passed the "what I did in the past" field idea onto Phrost and he agreed it should be in there.

I've always liked that you position yourself as someone who was called on your BS and became a better person for it. I'm calling you on your BS. Tranquil Suit double-dog dared you to challenge his style field, and you sidestepped that, all the while crusading for truth in style fields. That tells me that you're not looking for honesty in style fields, you're looking for a win against TS. Where am I wrong with that?

Weird that when a mod threatens to ban you if you don't prove you train in a style, no body flinches, but when people say they think especially mods should be clear about their ability and style people either shrug it off or object. I guess it depends on how popular the guy in question is. Why play naive? you demand it from noobs but take it easy when it is you.....

Yup, I had the same with rockape, who got a bit angry when I stated I had more martial skill in my pinky finger than he had in his entire body.
Under threat of ban I had to write down my resume etc, and then he conveniently ignored any offer I made for him to drop by at a TD to train with me and make up his own mind.

He himself had shown no skills and simply decided it wasnt worthy of any answer.

Back then I already said that the most vocal mods had the least to show for.
(mostly aiming at Rockape.)

No I just didn't like him telling me what to do. And I didn't see why he couldn't just spit it out on his own. Why does he need to beg to be asked? Also I didn't like him making it out like I had it in for him in particular. I didn't have any reason to think that he wasn't training, and I never said he wasn't training. He was just annoying me and I didn't feel like reading from whatever script he was setting up in his head.

I don't know him, I don't dislike him and I hope he's having a blast training and getting better. I thought he showed a lot of good aggression in his TD fist match, and I bet he'll be a good Thaiboxer.
