BTW regarding reading the skill level of others, you're in a good position to see what is right and wrong with my self-taught bass playing in a way that most here can not. You could also assess my roundhouse kick, as you train a low-kick style at a intermediate level, and you've seen me throw it.

A dude who plays air guitar and LARPs JJJ... not so much.

In a nutshell, when the average Bully is worse than the average intermediate loser trying to pass themselves off as a black belt, the site breaks down and can't do it's job effectively. This **** needs to get fixed.

Also, from the videos, I'd not have assumed that you were self taught (though some of my favorite players are)...I was thinking you were pretty damn good, whatever it was that took you to get there. I myself took a couple years of bass lessons when I was a teenager. As a typical teenager, I didn't pay much attention and rarely did my homework, but it still gave me a foundation to teach myself over the last 13 years. Just recently, I've started taking private lessons again, from a real badass. I'm a much better student at 31 than I was at 15. He's taken what I already know, added to it, and probably doubled my ability in about 3 months.

I highly recommend doing this at any age, btw.
