It's everything. Especially the non sports and anti grappling. Lurk more post less watch this
Ask them if they spar. Based on their website I bet the answer will be no, it's too dangerous or they'll call chi sao or something like that sparring.
You say you did judo right? Just think how much harder it is to do a throw in randori compared to nage or uchi komi. Now think how much of a killer you'd think you are if you never did randori.Last edited by Lindz; 11/03/2012 5:57pm at .

The hood mentality is crippling disease, that attacks your nervous system. It makes you nervous of the system. Gangsters and hood rats are especially susceptible to this growth stunting mentality. The hood is where I'm from, but it's not what I am. The hood is where I'm from, but it's not what I am. --Keith David--Ice Cube

Something a little more sticking based I think. I still enjoy the groundwork in Judo, but the falls were taking a toll on my body as I have poor core strength ATM.
I did a few lessons of Doce Pares Eskrima which I enjoyed, however found it hard to train by myself between classes, and the rate that they introduced new concepts (upto 6 new disarms and locks per week) affected my retention of what I learnt. I am very much a fan of doing a little but doing it well rather than allot poorly.Last edited by Avaicus; 11/04/2012 2:06am at .
