Haha. I read a bit about the Straight Edge movement, back in "the day". At a point most SXE kids were quite the opposite.

Yeah, precisely why I looked into it. Then I signed on to a couple of forums and found kids who wanted nothing more than an image and I became disheartened. I like the idea of all inclusiveness, but the problem is it seems to have bred an air of superiority amongst kids that haven't lived a lifestyle where being edge was a legit stand. For some, being edge meant they didn't want to get in trouble with their parents or the law. They weren't standing for something, they were cowering. 16 year old kids saying "I've been edge for 2 years now".

That was my impression. I'm sure there are some legit people still in the movement.

Huh... I could tell you how the best thing in my life was surviving the sickness and really started to value life - mine and other.... but perhaps some other time....

....as I still think the most awesome moment in life was grabbing a hold of a pair of b00bs. Yes, I led a totally boring life. Still do. Am happy with it.





Nah, just kidding but meeting a certain girl sure was. :-) It made everything more than worth it.
