Though the techniques are ... shall we say overly optimistic, the fact that she actually addressed the idea of groundwork was frickin' revolutionary for the 80's.
And yes, I think every martial artist during the 80's had a crush on Rothrock.

I'll be the first to say I didn't even know she existed. Then again, I was 8 years old at the end of the 80s and Australian TV programming/ movie releases were not, shall we say, diverse.GET A RED BELT OR DIE TRYIN'.
