There was no "winning" for carlson gracie mma. No matter how fuckhead tries to undo this it really won't matter. The negative **** he put out can't be fully removed from existence. He put that **** every where. Yelp, yahoo reviews, sherdog, jiu jitsu forums, better business bureau and bullshido. Nobody buys his retraction as its quite obviously been bought at a price.

Negative press like this to a small business owner is a fucking huge deal.

Ps. OP got exactly what he wanted. He made a big enough stink to get let out if his contract.

To me CGTMMA come off as being reasonable, patient and prepared to compromise in the face of interwebz shenanigans

If they lose one potential customer it is not a win. No, ask all of the gyms that have closed for stupid reasons if all publicity is good publicity.

The fact people still trot that weak ass line out is stupid. No, Chik-Fil-A doesn't work. That was an idiot opinion, not anyone saying their product made people sick or that they repeatedly double charged people.

There are certain things that can help. Taking a stand for moral reasons is either personal negativity or positivity. That was Chik-Fil-A.

Saying someone is a thief, conducting bad business and are dirty is another. This bothers damn near everyone and can ruin a business.

It's funny because all you have to do is look at ALL of the Bullshido and McDojo instructors that rant against bullshido. If it helped, they wouldn't attach letters to their websites or create anti-bullshido websites.

This also leaves people with the impression that they may have to go on an internet smear campaign to be able to back out of their contract.

All and all not good publicity at all. I do hope that this dip **** didn't do them too much damage.
