Went to my first knockdown tournament last weekend at the K2 Centre near Gatwick, UK.
It was for Kyokushin students only so I wouldn't of been able to compete but I hope to compete one day, if not for the trophies but just to tell the grandkids one day! I went with a fellow Karateka and we had a great time spectating and was made to feel very welcome by others (Felt good to be in the company of other angry people in white pyjamas).
Unfortunately we couldn't stay till the end as it was over running and we had to get back home.
Just wanted to know if any other bullies were able to attend or competed? It was an international event.
Saw some epic knockdowns and I left feeling very inspired :)

Ha, I'm nowhere near international level, but here's me in one of my matches at our local semi contact Kyokushin tournament last weekend. We have an annual full contact and an annual semi contact. The only difference is that during the semi, we wear mma gloves, shin guards and (this time, ugh) headwear. It's a good place for people to try their first tournie, or just to tune up.
I ended up taking second place in men's heavyweight. Sorry in advance for the horrible excuse for a wheel kick attempt, lol.
(oh yeah, I'm in the red)

****, I'll take that compliment!
I'll also do my 100 press ups (and maybe I'll start calling them press ups instead of push ups at my gym...see if it catches on.)

As long as you do 'em on your first two knuckles only you can call 'em what you like, haha!
I've always called them press ups but I suppose a push up makes more sense as your actually pushing yourself away from the ground.
