I'm currently in Paris, will be back in Chi-town on the afternoon of the 18th. We have a Bartitsu class ( http://www.bartitsuclubofchicago.com/ ) scheduled for 6.30 that evening - I'd normally teach it, but may be way too jet-lagged, in which case my assistant instructor will be running the show. Anyway, you'd be welcome, and you should definitely check out the Forteza WMA gym/school while you're in town.

Unfortunately, my bus for Minneapolis leaves on Thursday, so I won't be able to make it to the Bartitsu class. Sadface.
I was thinking of stopping by on Wednesday for their other HEMA class. Any advice?

Wed. night is mostly Renaissance martial arts classes - Fiore dei Liberi's two-handed sword, probably some dagger and grappling. Best to call reception for specifics, as I'm not sure which classes are open.
