I can't speak for the rest of their discography, but Born Of Osiris really nailed it on The Discovery, and they have the added advantage of actually being pretty good besides the breakdowns. Nominally they're supposed to be deathcore, but they're so much better than the rest of the watery **** in that genre that it seems unfair to call them that.

Although I am well aware of the musical concept being well established long ago, the word has been appropriated in and around the ____-core genres to describe the part in the song where those in the moshpit lose their minds and hardcore dancers get flogged by me.

On a less trolling note, I don't think it even counts as __core, but the most insane mosh put I ever saw was at a Protomen concert in Columbus Ohio, to this song:

After they finished playing it, their keyboardist grabbed a mic and said: "Guys... chill out. I mean, rock and roll and ****, but don't fucking kill each other."
It was the only time I've ever seen a rock band tell their audience to calm down.
