Anybody here read japanese comics (manga)? There's a really interesting and entertaining one called History's strongest disciple. It ais about a teenager who is bullied in school. So he reads a lot of "how to" books to overcome his dilemma. One day on his way to school he is accidentally judo thrown by a girl. And from her he finds out about this dojo in town and starts learning there.
Very funny comic, very entertaining comic, and also very good It hasen't been officially translated in English but there are fan translations available. Go get it from mangatreaders if you are interested.

Strongest disciple is ok, kinda kiddie. If you want some real budo **** you gotta check out Shamo. I cant stress just how awesome this manga is. There's also Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru AKA karate prince. its pretty good.

checked out minoru and shamo. Liked minoru a lot. But, shamo, its too ummm... mature. Will check out b reaction next. thanks for the manga recommendations :)

Does it have to be manga cause you could always get into

I actually have no idea if it is any good or not or if you could even find it but I mean come on its a Judo comic book how awesome is that?
