Well I seem to have turned a corner in my recovery

I can laugh again (yay!), as well as take deep breaths

Sneezing is still a bridge to far and every now and again some hicburp will give me a nasty pinch

recovering from a sprained MCL, injuries suck.

i'm 3-4 weeks post-injury and am getting a lot better, but still not 100%. have been working on pull-ups, chin-ups and recently started some plyometric medicine ball work (slams, russian twists, wood choppers, etc.) also bodyweight squats, but i hope to start adding weight to my squats next week and start deadlifting again soon as well.

hopefully only another 3 weeks until i can get back into randori.

Ah well, get well soon you crazy bastard. Oh the injuries I could tell you about, I'm still trying to recover from the nunchuck suppository I got earlier this week.

I made the mistake of messing around with the kids during the junior judo class last monday which exacerbated my injury, followed by some other ill advised actions during the week and so I am back to square 1 on my recovery

    Which sucks!

You know how they say: "Train smart"

This applies to everyone. Yes, even to mediocre athletic white guys in their 40's.
