Point being though compared to head gear those space helmets are pricey, I though about picking up a couple just to train with but not at those prices. How many will you need for a good program?

Inded they are not cheap, But in Brazil, Argentina and Chile Coutries with a similar Economic situation there is Kudo Daido Juku running without problem

We will need a lot of course but I believe that first doing some Ashihara sparring (Kyokushin with Judo throws and clinch) until people can afford the helmets is the main solution

Don't pursue this one- the San Diego river gets more and more awful the farther down you go, until it reaches its feces-covered mouth in Dog Beach, right after it runs through one of the biggest hobo camps in SD.
