    Helmet = awesome sauce

    If you have a club or dedicated group you could probably start by bringing a qualified instructor over for seminars... Maybe lure him to stay with hot uraguayan girls.

    The girls always help.

    Uruguay may be one of the best kept secrets in the Americas; I'm calling my travel agent tomorrow.

    Stop over in Japan to learn Kudo first and you're all set!

    Have you checked with the Hombu Dojo yet? The standard process , last I knew, was that Azuma Kaicho comes to your country and holds a seminar. You can train with them and possibly test with them to get your black belt. Then you pay the association fees(this is what keeps me from affiliating) and you wait for approval.

    If you don't have an active school with a large student count, you may want to re-think this. The affiliation fees are crazy high and to bring Azuma Kaicho to your country is also going to be very costly. I believe that, to qualify to test, you need a black belt in another style, preferably Kyokushin, Ashihara, Enshin, Yoshukai,....or a similar hard contact style.

    I would advise you to contact the Hombu about the exact requirements. http://www.daidojuku.com/eng/contact.html#form

    This is awesome, first time for me, at first i didn't get the full face guard, i thought it made them a bit complacent towards jabs and other punches, but than i saw the head butts, and the really good judo/jj...what is this?

    Can't you just kidnap an instructor and hold him in the jungle till he has taught you the true KDJ?
