It is a rule set/tournament and not a school but what you see is stuff that looks more like sport JuJutsu but doesn't all that wrist locky crap look like that when you use these sorts of rules?
I competed in that once. I still call shenanigans.

    Welcome to Bullshido.
Wait, where can I find videos of Omega getting kneed in the face 10 times?

The mat was maybe 12 feet in length. Everytime I took him down he went outside and it didn't count. The bought ended up being a 1 to 1 match so we went to sudden death. So he threw a round house to my abdomen which I blocked and countered. The one judge who was at the angle to see the blows scored for me. The other two scored for him. I busted up laughing and pulled both judges over. I told them I conceded to their decision but they should make sure to be able to see the contact next time. The third judge came over with the winner and they both agree the kick was blocked. He ended up going on to win the entire thing and the $500.

    So yeah, sore loser.

    This

    looks different than this

to this even which does look more like the demo but could be easily mistaken for something else all together

I guess my real question is are they training with the same methodology in both the competitive Hapkido environment to that of your "classical" Hapkido? Does changing the Methodology change the art?

Just for contrast here is Judo that looks like Judo be it instructional/demo, sparing, or used in MMA
