    Another Ill-Advised Comeback ?

I loved watching Ricky Hatton fight, but I don't know if this is a good idea.

I wonder what sort of tune up they're finding for him.

Obviously it's his body and my authority to pronounce on someone like him is within a rounding-error of zero.

But I wish he didn't need, for whatever reason, to do this.

Let's all watch this one more time:

    Ricky Hatton announces comeback fight!

Apparently back in September, Ricky Hatton announced his return to boxing, and is scheduled to fight November 24th! And hey, regardless of some... questionable decisions that the guy has made, I think it'd be great to see some him make a comeback.

His opponent, Vyachislev Senchenko I'm not terribly familiar with; according to Wikipedia, he's 32-1 with 21 KOs.

And as much as I'm rooting for Hatton, considering the last time he was widely talked about on Bullshido was because of this...

    ...I'm a bit worried.

There is already a thread on this in the MA In The News forum.

Love Ricky but some boxers just don't know when it's time to call it a day.
    hopefully he will be victorious

It ain't a tune-up. His next opponent is a genuine threat. Vyacheslav Senchenko is his name, and he recently held the WBA Welterweight belt until being defeated by Paulie Malignaggi last April.

Ah, the idea being that this should be an easy fight for him since he beat Paulie Malignaggi in the past.

    Hmmm, I'm curious.
