Your school teaches Yamanaka-ha Shindo-ryu ju jutsu. Which basically translates as Yamanaka Sensei's version of Shindo -ryu. Is it traditional? As Ron Yamanaka has added in elements of Aikido and Gung fu to the art, it can't be considered an pure Japanese art. Please note that in the history given, the Wado-kai is primarily a Karate organization, with a ju jutsu element.
Its been a long time since I did any seminars with Yamanka Sensei, I honestly can't remember being very impressed with his ju jutsu back in the 80's. -
