If you've got a bunch of guys get everyone to wear sparring gloves and shin pads. One is pad holder ((just using the palm of your hand/glove) and moves backwards whilst the attacker strikes the legs, body and gloves. The gloves are just held up as a target, there's no need for really good pad holding skills.
When you get to the end of the room the attacker now practices fighting on the backfoot. So the human punching bag now walks on. And back and forth for the round.
For pad holding I don't train often enough anymore, so apart from technique I work a couple of favourites... Slip the jab, counter right.
And take a right hand on the glove or forearm, counter left hook.
Add whatever 2,3, or 4 punch combination afterwards,, like straight right left hook/rip combos. helps to have one of those body belt things. -
