That's my issue. If you like to eat terrible, I know I do, don't turn your situation into a national tragedy. Like the thyroid issue, there are people born with something they can't control. These two women are not the case. Your shitty eating habits led you down this road and it is sad that people are defending you because you cried "bully' or "I won't let it get me down."

I'm also irritated that this guy is now doing PSAs. None of which mention that he ate like a pig, needed surgery to lose weight and still battled eating problems.

Al discovered these psychological issues the hard way. After his surgery, he gradually regained forty pounds. Intellectually, he said he knew he had lost weight, but he admitted that it has been hard to see himself like others do.

Now, Al indicated that maintaining his weight is a daily challenge that includes a combination of portion control, exercise and knowing his triggers. Essentially, as it is for anyone who is trying to manage their weight, it is learning how to eat more mindfully. He said that if he is going to eat it, it has to be something “spectacular” not just something to mindlessly munch on.

My wife has gotten me into this show (and I watch almost no TV).

If anyone wants to see deserving, lazy fat people get yelled at properly for their bullshit, this show is the golden ticket.

I honestly don't know what is worse:

Also, living in one of the poorest quarters in Western Europe, I'd like to say the following:
**** THIS STUPID BITCH. People around me, they are fat because they can't afford good food, and because between the three jobs they have, they find no time to work out. But some TV personality whose only job is to read preformatted text twic per day, who has a nanny, a cleaning lady, and likely a goddamn driver, she could do all this **** and she doesn't. I hope that high horse she is sitting on throws her off and fucks her.

Well to clarify obese people, over weight per BMI people are a different argument all together.
We don't put up with that **** for anything else.
I have little sympathy for these people they have access to some of the very best dietitians and personal trainers.

I'm reminded of Ginny Sacramone in The Sopranos. Johnny comes in and she's weighing ingredients on a set of scales. "The woman is a saint". This leads to Johnny putting a contract out on Ralphie etc etc. Classic Sopranos. The upshot is that after the contract is pulled - just in time, as the lift doors opens - Johnny comes home unexpectedly and Ginny in face deep in chocolate (candy bars US-side).


But I could be wrong about the Weatherlady.

Now if she looked like Sophie Dahl when she did Opium perfume advert....all would be forgiven. But she don't - and now, nor does the delectable Ms Dahl, whose married some piano player who looks shorter than me, lost 5 stones (70lbs) and does Cooking books and such. That pinto's n' rice diet ain't all it's cracked up to be. About two weeks of that and I'm ready to murder for a hearty four courses. The "glass of milk" reccomendation is probably the most honest part, as you really do need to suplement with that to feel good after your meal. Especially after several days of eating this stuff.

It is cheap, and waaaay better than the McDonald's though...

McDonald's is gross and expensive. I question if it is even food.
Their are plenty of other fast food places around though.
I can feed a family of 4 at Subway for $10 and the food will be ok health wise.
But back to McDonalds say you did want to stop after a long day of work or what not and pick up some food on the way home. Don't need to get the 4 large sodas which really skews the argument.
I mean McDonalds also does have a value menu. Get something off of that and a water and its a cheap meal.

I am sad to report I get nearly all my news from the Daily Show.
I use to get a lot of it from NPR but where I am now the station doesn't come in all that clear
