What's up guys.
Just going by what's expected and introducing myself. I was doing my due diligence and looking up BJJ dojos in where I will be moving, and the last place I wanna end up in is a McDojo, so I googled the place and found this site.
I really like the fair and informative discussions you guys have, and so many people seem to care so much about the integrity of the martial arts as I do, so that sure made me feel all tingly inside.
Some friends call me DP, and that's pretty much the only nickname I can give on here without revealing my real name so, if you really must abbreviate my name, you could use that. I'm originally from Texas, moved around a lot to several countries/states. I've been an active duty Marine since 2005, and still serving. Martial arts has always been a big part of my life and I've always made an honest effort of continuing the practice wherever I move, even (ESPECIALLY) on deployment.
I just wanted to post a quick intro before I revive a 3 year untouched thread about a certain potential McDojo I wanna avoid in San Angelo, TX. It never quite got the closure it deserved and I WANNA KNOW DOGGONNIT!!
Thank you for your service.
If your going to stick around I suggest you go ahead and get yourself a military tag.
I believe this thread here should tell you how to do it.
Welcome to Bullshido and thank you for your service to this great nation.

You mentioned BJJ, is that the primary art you study? If not, what do you train in?
Also, who are you with over at Goodfellow?
Thanks for your service.
