Perhaps the best preparation would be to lay up 20lbs of body fat, just in case

Eat all the pies, stop exersizing, take up Systema
Considered in the abstract the boxing ring is an altar of sorts, one of those legendary spaces where the laws of a nation are suspended: inside the ropes, during an officially regulated three-minute round, a man may be killed by his opponent's hands but he cannot be legally murdered. Boxing inhabits a sacred space predating civilization; or, to use D.H. Lawrence's phrase, before God was love. If it suggests a savage ceremony or a rite of atonement it also suggests the futility of such gestures. For what possible atonement is the fight waged if it must shortly be waged again... and again? The boxing match is the very image, the more terrifying for being so stylized, of mankind's collective aggression; its ongoing historical madness.

Ugh. Rob Liefeld. Proof positive that people rise to the level of their incompetence...

I used to feel like I was taking crazy pills back in the 90's because I thought his art lacked the very fundamentals all of us aspiring young artists were EXPECTED to master. (Anatomy, perspective, design...) Yet he was getting ridden nutz deep by the rest of the world.

Maybe it's sour grapes, but I feel better now that popular culture apears to have come around to my way of thinking...

That said, who wouldn't want Cable & Deadpool on their Uhpokylips crew?

You know, when I read this:

If these guys are operating in an environment with gravity comparable to that of Earth, even the earlier poster with his crossbow would stand a good chance of being able to out maneuver these guys.
I thought, I bet he also hates this:
