Lord Humus fucked up royally as he couldn't take down one much more hipster gang armed with boomerangs and crossbows and ****.
This is a leader one laughs at, while telling his tale to the children. Perhaps the fact that he was utterly insane bugger has something to do with it.
But I'll give you that the best model you can give is Genghis Khan. He was real, he started from nothing and forged the biggest empire in the world and controlled it with his ancestors for a long time.
