There speaks someone who has never had to provide one of those lumbering morons with food, water, medical treatment, clipping for ingrown hoofs, rub downs so it doesn't strain itself...ugh! When the collapse finally comes, the only advantage of a horse over a bicycle will be that you can't eat a bicycle in a famine situation.

    You think you know me?

Horses have thier disadvantages, but they are self propelled and can reproduce
Considered in the abstract the boxing ring is an altar of sorts, one of those legendary spaces where the laws of a nation are suspended: inside the ropes, during an officially regulated three-minute round, a man may be killed by his opponent's hands but he cannot be legally murdered. Boxing inhabits a sacred space predating civilization; or, to use D.H. Lawrence's phrase, before God was love. If it suggests a savage ceremony or a rite of atonement it also suggests the futility of such gestures. For what possible atonement is the fight waged if it must shortly be waged again... and again? The boxing match is the very image, the more terrifying for being so stylized, of mankind's collective aggression; its ongoing historical madness.

I can lock my bicycle in a garage for three months, and once I take it out and slap some oil on it, it's good as new. Try that with a horse and tell me how it goes.

A bicycle wont come when you call it

When your wounded and done for a horse will gallop on and bring you home, what good is a bicycle.

Try making a Triumphant entry on a bicycle...go on, just try

This is the deadlier one, just so we're clear, zombies.
