I've had my car searched by Texas state troopers while driving through Amarillo, Texas simply because I had Led Zeppelin CDs on my front seat.
But they sure were friendly while they searched my car without any real probable cause.
On the other hand I had been driving 20 straight hours hopped up on Marlboros and gas station coffee...so maybe I looked like this (come to think of it I was wearing a fishing hat and sunglasses at the time...)

The best part was when they asked me (I kid you not) if I had any weapons in the car. I had a lot of camping gear, so I told them I had a large hatchet and a machete.
They said "no, we mean real weapons".
Hatchet and machete are considered children's' toys in Texas, was what I got from that.
