    K-bar said it, but i gonan repeat cause it sounds trivial: get good runnign shoes. Just some aescics will do, Modells sells them fairly cheap. But don't wear them for anythign but running. If your going to be running alot, thats quite important. In CC, we always warmed up/down for a half mile light jogging, and definately stretch.

    Normal walking speed is 3 miles per hour. You're just twice as fast. Good, but not great. Marathon run a sustained, what, about 6 minute mile for 2.5 hours?

    Normally, I'd say I was grappling, but I was taking down and mounting people, and JFS has kindly informed us that takedowns and being mounted are neither grappling nor anti grappling, so I'm not sure what the **** I was doing. Maybe schroedinger's sparring, where it's neither grappling nor anti-grappling until somoene observes it and collapses the waveform, and then I RNC a cat to death.----fatherdog

    3 miles you say.

    No 1 mile = 1.8 km.
    So thats about 5.4 km in 31 mins.

    O.k I'm a bit out of shape. Last time I ran 5 km it took me just under 30 mins.
    I normally run about 3 km in 15min. But not trainin gfor a few months has taken its toll. SO I'll have to work my way back to that level.
