Maybe you're mistaking Starship Troopers for Starship Troopers 2.

while I realize that the Robocop reboot is coming out, did it hit anyone else that the URL for the image of the 'suit' conspicuously had 'dredd' in it? I'm wondering if it may not be a set piece for the new Dredd movie, instead?

What he said. I thought it was totally obvious even when I first saw the movie and it came out when I was 16.
Curiosity killed the cat. But damn it had a blast.

Maybe to make it sound more badass than its biggest cyborg rival back in the day, the T-800.

The original was nothing without Arnold, and this version doesn't have Arnold.
A reboot is when they start a series over, like they did with Spider-man.
You missed the point. Let me help you out.

He said it was terrible. At that point, we are not discussing REBOOT vs REMAKE.

I said the movie was no worse, while not commenting on reboot vs remake, than T3 being a copy of T2. I said "Reboot" Recall was SIMILAR in that regard. Notice, I did not say the same. Why? Being a sequel is the main difference between Reboot Recall and T3. Remove that and they are basically the same thing.

    Clear now?

PS. No, a Reboot isn't only defined as when "they start a series over." A reboot is used for one off movies as well.

Here are a few examples in the media:

If you want to call it a remake go ahead, it fits both. Remember, I love semantics go ask Bodhi108 and W.Rabbit.

Not in these films, there was nothing satirical about them. Just cheesy.
