You missed the point. Let me help you out.
He said it was terrible. At that point, we are not discussing REBOOT vs REMAKE.
I said the movie was no worse, while not commenting on reboot vs remake, than T3 being a copy of T2. I said "Reboot" Recall was SIMILAR in that regard. Notice, I did not say the same. Why? Being a sequel is the main difference between Reboot Recall and T3. Remove that and they are basically the same thing.
Clear now?
PS. No, a Reboot isn't only defined as when "they start a series over." A reboot is used for one off movies as well.
