I was going to say get into a boxing class. Boxing would blend well with the other MAs you are taking. Still you going to get hit in the head and body, then what are you going to think and do? Sparring in any MA means you are going to be hit, learn to hit not often. Suck it up Joe

Still got my man card. My wife is holding it for me.

definatly try out judo for a month or two Rurik

Getting hit by the planet realy puts getting hit by a mere human fist into perspective

The conditioning of judo randori has made me way more confident up close whilst striking

I'm sorry, what the ****, son? I thought this whole "Y'all suck donkey balls and drink the cum on Bullshido" was meant to inspire people to change and train and ****. And now that it's working you are not acknowledging that ****? The **** is wrong with you son? Come the **** on, man.

Rurik is going to print a shirt that says "I'm a movement by myself, but I'm a force when types a letter. I'm a movement by myself, but Sirc makes me better". Go into the cracks and crevices of mediocrity and pull motherfuckers into enlightenment like only you can, Sirc. Fucking do that ****.

I know that you've seen Gurran Lagann. Think of it this way. Remember when Kamina said, "Listen Simon... Don't forget. Believe in yourself. Not in the you who believes in me. Not the me who believes in you. Believe in the you who believes in yourself."

This is what I'm trying to do here. These fucks need nobody but themselves.

So I better stop worrying about who is better than me or not because of a little sparring meetup and concentrate on my training
I'm gonna stick to MT for a atleast a couple of months maybe even a whole year then maybe try grappling a go or go back to Kyokushin

Thanks everybody for the advice, I'm gonna train harder from now on

Also: where is Sirc to inspire me?
You are supposed to feel overwhelmed and frustrated. That is called learning. Comfortable is the **** state.

Yeah, if you look at it right, this will make you stronger. There's a guy at my Kyokushin place right now who is a belt under me, is about 20 lbs lighter than me, but is simply a better fighter than I am. Every time we spar, be it mid intensity normal class, or full on belt test level, he absolutely tunes me up. It seems like I can't hurt him, and he absolutely shreds my legs all while maintaining an enviable calm to him. After he's done with me, he always smiles and gives me a hug.

Now, I could be discouraged by this, but instead I try to take any opportunity to be paired up with him. Come various tournaments down the road, this guy, more than others with whom I train, will have prepared me to deal with tougher fighters, and to know how I really react under fire.

I find your lack of spare-ing disturbing.
