    Hell yeah! Hell no!

I give up I'm not meant to be a striker

Today I did a sparring meetup with a couple of friends (boxers and thai boxers)

I have over a year of Kyokushin and a few weeks of muay thai I also crapple with a couple of friends who do BJJ and they taught me a cuople of submissions

I sparred twice at medium contact
First against a boxer with some months of hard training
I made him tap trough a Rear naked choke, but the next round I got my wind knocked because of a hook to the body

The thai boxer I made him tap trough a shitty Guillotine, the next round he went hard and punched my face several times I again tried to crapple when faced with solid striking (he has 8 months doing MT)

I think I just suck at striking maybe it was not my day who knows

I'm gonna assist a trial class of Judo and a class of BJJ at the place my friend trains

I guess I'm not a natural striker maybe Judo is the answer for me or Sambo or BJJ

Maybe I'm overreacting maybe Striking its the one for me there is just thing thats getting in the way...
When we get to sparr I'm not good its such a shame!
I look into your eyes and I want to get to punch you but then you make this tap and its apparent all over

Who cares if you're a "natural"? Do what you like best.

You are right, but I dont know if I like to get punched in the face, and that I try to crapple under pressure its a sign of things

    This.

Also, maybe you're nervous when you spar and that gets in the way. Don't necessarily try to be the best, just do what you can and work from there.
    Start a training log!

One year of KK versus a few weeks of MT, keep your fucking hands up. This will come with time, but in a way you have been training ass backwards.

and that I try to crapple under pressure its a sign of things
A sign that you've been "training" to crapple, maybe?

When I wanted to start doing BJJ I went and watched a couple of classes first. When it came time to give it a try they asked if I wanted to try a free class. I told them no thanks to the freebie and that I would pay for a month. They looked at me like I was crazy and asked "what if you don't like it"?

My response was that if I didn't stick it out for a month then I really wasn't giving it a fair shot to determine if I really liked it.

I guess my point is that if you are going to try striking then at least give it a fucking chance. Commit to it for a year and if you don't like it try something else.

Next thing, quit fucking around with your buddies. Save that **** for the gym under propper supervision with a coach who will use those punches to the face to further your training. Getting punched in the face sucks. Getting punched in the face without being able to learn from it is completely pointless.
