    Shovel List

You all must be familiar with the idea of a bucket list, all those things you want to do before you die etc.

Well here's something a little different, the Shovel List, all the people you'd like to smack round the head with a shovel before you die

Top of my list right now would be my present employer. God damn I want to smack this guy up good...where's ma shovel??!!

    Please...share
Considered in the abstract the boxing ring is an altar of sorts, one of those legendary spaces where the laws of a nation are suspended: inside the ropes, during an officially regulated three-minute round, a man may be killed by his opponent's hands but he cannot be legally murdered. Boxing inhabits a sacred space predating civilization; or, to use D.H. Lawrence's phrase, before God was love. If it suggests a savage ceremony or a rite of atonement it also suggests the futility of such gestures. For what possible atonement is the fight waged if it must shortly be waged again... and again? The boxing match is the very image, the more terrifying for being so stylized, of mankind's collective aggression; its ongoing historical madness.

Any president that shrinks our military to the point where a Russian nuclear sub can chill in the Gulf of Mexico for two months without being noticed.

God (if he exists, if not please tell me who to smack) for making it look like it's going to rain on the day I was gonna take my daughter to the fair.

Other peoples' kids. How they fucking irk me.

The heads of all our oil companies.
