I'm a thrift store reader, so next time I see some, I'm on it.

Finished Be Cool this afternoon (read to p.250 last night, did the last 100 today).
Different from the movie, but equally good.

    The Rock's best role.

In the book, Raji is actually black, everyone's scared of Elliot (6'5 260), Eliiot's Bi, Chilli never fights him, and he (Elliot) tosses Raji out of a 10th story building at the end. Linda signs w/ another company for a mil, Hy Gordan isn't a doofus. Sin Ruselle get hit with a concussion grenade, and other differences, but it's very good. Hell, I burned through it in about 24 hours, so yeah, it was very good.

I only marathon read really good books. Ludlam's "The Matarese Circle" I burned through in a real hurry. then re-read it, after my subsequent book.

I went three days without a book, and was losing my ****. Killed the battery on the phone reading news, bought the Globe, the Herald, read the Metro, Weekly Dig, Bay Windows, Final Call, Spare Change, My Line6 DL4 Manual, and other stuff.

Finally I got to the thrift, and got Be Cool, and The Princess Bride.

Eh, my favorite Rock movies are The Rundown and Faster, although I admit in those he plays Dwayne Johnson and....angry Dwayne Johnson, whereas his part in Be Cool is a pretty far hop from his usual personality.

You should try home fries with Michael Bay. I heard it's explosive.

So...just read White Wolf by David Gemmell.
Yes indeed. Definitely maintains the standard set by Legend and Quest For Lost Heroes. Everyone needs to be reading David Gemmell. Now. Don't make me hitchhike to where you live and force you to do do it. I'm not joking. This is my serious face, and I'm making a serious post.
