I'd like to say all of the above.
There are a few GJJ schools (Gracie Barra and Gracie CTC ) in the city which I would prefer but I would have to drive 40 kM into the downtown core of a major city.
The one TJJ school is not advertised as such it is West Island JJ but it shows the teachers credentials as a 2nd or 3rd degree BB in TJJ ( don't quite remember the Dan ) the students there do compete and do quite well from what I gather. -
I feel like you eyeballin' me, dawg!

Something tells me to stay away from the TJJ guy.
I think that guy has already been the target of BS wrath.

EDIT: Wrath is a little strong. He is using the BJJ name to market his TJJ style.Last edited by DarkPhoenix; 9/13/2012 2:40pm at .

Yeah i've read that but the school I was looking at is not under his direction but under one of his BBs Ron Pattyn.
From the FB page.
"He teaches Freestyle Jiu-Jitsu based on his knowledge of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Japanese Judo, and Western Wrestling."

Please tell me you see the problem.
Here let me explain, his teacher was under scrutiny for playing games about grappling and JJJ. Now, you are asking about an instructor who has a BB from the same guy who is claiming BJJ, wrestling and free style JJ.
Unless you find this guy and his school competing at regular submission tournaments I'd say no.
