no, because when you have to explain a joke, it's no longer funny. if you're going to live in a country that is so devoted to ruining punchlines, then you need to learn to use a proxy to bypass the censorship.

Well in China (as you should already know) it's not just about knowing how to use a proxy, but how to use a proxy and not get nailed by the authorities, since it is illegal and they monitor for it. Originally Posted by Bezmond

Yes, but keep in mind they are more heavily monitoring who is using proxies than ever before. With 400 million internet users they have to target enforcement on people accessing the "wrong" things. But you could still find your internet shut off for no other reason than you accessed a proxy they were watching. Originally Posted by Bezmond

There are other, better ways to get around the GFoC than proxies but it involves knowing the right people and places, if you get my drift.
