Endorse? I'm not pundit or anything, but I like Jill "What we don't deserve is irresponsible bullshit that passes itself off as campaigning." Stein.
and Gary Johnson + Ron Paul makes sense.
If I had my way we'd have testing required for voting rights. I was a TA once and the history tests drove TA's crazy. Grad students who love history can't take it when students don't know what century the Civil War occurred and after a couple months of teeth gnashing they'd have to be replaced. Don't know what century it occurred? Can't explain Mason Dixon Line or the Battle of Dien Bien Phu or what is an entitlement or who was The Shah and how did he get to power? Miss a couple of those and no voting in Pat's World.
and I encourage reading, books like this tell what's been going on
But reading this makes me realize that it is probably hopeless, our nation is in decline and I better buy more Hawaiian real estate for the Asian vacation rental market: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/08/25/op...ture.html?_r=3Last edited by patfromlogan; 9/07/2012 6:12pm at .

Grades? We don't know **** about his grades. Who cares? The media made big **** of Bush's Cs. What have you heard of Barrie? Nada.
I'd like to know the clubs, endorsements, how he got there, etc. He's a product of a communist father and a socialist mother. I'd be interested in reading his writings at the time and who the **** else he was hanging out with. I could give a **** about his pot and cocaine use.
Not comical is him wanting to redistribute others wealth and give to those that do little or nothing, increase the size of the government beyond it's already unsustainable gargantuan level, run up the deficit as he has, etc, etc, etc.
Do you understand my side Rabbit? I don't like either of the choices, but one is hell bent on destroying this country as it is for what he thinks it needs to be. Doesn't make him a bad man, but it does put him on the opposite side of how I and many others think.
Can you dig your head out of your ass long enough to see the good and bad in both or are you just going to parrot your people at MSNBC (just cause you're always bitching about the FOX network (-:)? -

Sources please. I'd like to know where exactly you got his parents political affiliations.
"Wealth redistribution", and "increasing the size of government" are two GOP talking points with almost no substance. The largest expansion of government in 20 years happened during Bush Jr's administration, with the creation of the new homeland security apparatus.
Obama has created no new departments, new government agencies...so what exactly did he do to "increase the size of government"?
Destroying the country? You mean like the 8 years of Bush didn't do enough? I have yet to see Obama do a single thing as disastrous as Bush's war and economic policies. Funny how in 2008 when the country was actually on the verge of catastrophe, no one was worried about the Third Red Scare.
I'm a social moderate and a fiscal conservative. I don't watch ANY cable news. I think the GOP is the party of big government and overspending and they lie about it, and the Democrats are currently actually better for the middle class because they give a **** about things like the minimum wage and feeding kids.
Obama was supposed to destroy the country and enslave us in his socialist ways in the first four years right?
Hasn't happened. Never will. Because it's all a bunch of horse **** made up by political horse **** artists.Last edited by W. Rabbit; 9/07/2012 7:49pm at .

Well we can all use head-out-of-ass!
Conservatives get giant hardons, wet dreams about Reagan and his ilk and the myth of shrinking government. If one cares to look http://www.opm.gov/feddata/Historica...tSince1962.asp
one will find Reagan increased the executive staff. And Obama has less fed workers, according to http://www.politicususa.com/big-gove...ma-reagan.html about a 1/4 mil less...
Reagan was like Bush, a liar who spent zillions on the military and cut taxes for the zillionaires. Obama of course is talking tough on defense in order to appeal to American meat heads, but any sane politician (like the 3 I wrote of above) ask questions like mine: Why the **** do we need to have such a bloated military budget? The United States spent $728 billion on its military in 2010, about 45% of the world’s $1.6 trillion total. U.S. spending amounts to more than the next fourteen largest military spending countries combined. In fact, the U.S. spends nearly 6 times more than the next largest military spender, China. In addition, most of the top-spending countries are American allies. http://mercatus.org/publication/worl...tries-combined
As Stein sez, campaigns of pandering bullshit. I'm waiting in vain, waiting to hear reality from Obama or Asshole, I want to hear one or both of them to say, "'Five years after a horrific financial crisis caused by massive fraud, not a single senior financial executive has been prosecuted and that’s wrong."Last edited by patfromlogan; 9/07/2012 8:13pm at .

Read Jill Stein's platform.
Some good financial reforms: restore glass steagal, break up too large to fail banks, greater oversight of fed reserve. Socialist economic policies but at least adds some protectionism so we might be able to retain some sort of economy after going down that route. Cuts military and put national guard at front of defense doctrine (need details, might be able to get behind this) Aggressive no nuke foreign policy in Mideast which will be ineffectual due to lack of military, or will lead to war. (REQUIRE mid east to be nuke free! What does this mean? Attack countries that bring nuclear armed vessels into Mideast international waters ?!?)
Drastically changes property rights and large parts of our constitution. Unlikely but sounds like bad idea anyway.

Don't think this one would be good for this country. Thoughts out there?
Off to research next candidate... -

Health care: let the market take care of health care. While the market would help reduce costs humanitarian concerns makes this a difficult path to go down.
Gun rights: simple. Keep them for the people.
More later...
